<Link played Sydney a couple of years ago now & was absolutely amazing. One
of the loudest shows I've ever seen. Reminded me of Motorhead in terms of
the sheer volume he played at. A couple of young guys backing him up (the
bassplayer looked like a young Dee Dee Ramone) & like Jake said, barely
keeping up with him. All the "hits" as well as things like "Rumble" & "Ace
of Spades" getting played twice. Really bloody impressive for a 70 plus (?)
year old with one lung.

I saw Link a couple of years ago, and he was pretty good. The backing guys
were two guys from Dieselhead, who opened and sucked! Horrible Grateful Dead
type shit. Link was cool, but you could tellthe guys didn't know the songs
too well. When they played "I'm Branded," the bassists just followed Link's
chords, not playing the cool counter-line.
