the go
the go album is on sub pop, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. the lp has
one extra track and was mastered better, so i recommend that. jack white
does appear on the album, and even wrote the songs "keep on trash" and "time
for moon". but overall, i still can't get into the vocal or drum mixing. the
vocals are reverb'd beyond all belief and the drums are so burried, and it
sounds like the whole thing was recorded underwater. it's so frustrating
because it could've been done so much better. they already recorded a follow
up, entitled "Free Electricity". i hear the mixing is a little better, but
after hearing the first album, i can't trust anything now. later...ben
