RE: introduction to garage music

Well, I'm 23 and I've hardly heard any '80 garage bands, in fact Thee
Headcoats and the Milkshakes are the only ones that spring to mind.  My
introduction to garage was through a friend who had a mix tape someone had
made them with a mixture of 60s garage and psychedelia, from stuff like
Jefferson Airplane to the Sonics.  Then I bought Pebbles Vol. 1 and it
started from there.
